AIRLIFT – Movie Review

AIRLIFT has hit the movie theatres to lift up your patriotic feelings. January 26 is just around the corner and if you wish to jazz up your patriotic feelings, then nothing would be good rather than watching Raja Krishna’s AIRLIFT. If it’s described in one line then AIRLIFE is just a fabulous movie which will make you get oozed with heroism and courage. It does not matter if you are Akshay’s fan or not, but this movie will definitely make you fall in love with Akshay’s acting. Airlift satisfies all these three factors; Story, Acting and Execution, which play a wide role to make any film successful. And we are going to encompass all these factors in a discreet manner. AIRLIFT IS SOLIDLY PLOTTED: – in this section, we are going to explore what is all about the story of this movie. Let’s take a look.

• Spicy Story:- Don’t think that Spicy Story has mentioned here for Sexy Scenes, Enthralling Songs or Unforgettable dialogues. Airlift is going to carve out a different way which does not believe to follow the Bollywood rituals. Actually, Spicy Story depicts towards toasting a true story in a magical way. Yes!!! If you do not know then it’s essential to mention here that Airlift is based on pacey and emotive true story. And the audience will not be getting bored as this strong story infuses a great magic in the movie. Airlift is all about the self-discovery and human strength in adversity. The story of this movie takes you 25 years back in the era of 1990 where it revolves around the Kuwait- based Indian businessman Ranjit Katyal played by Akshay Kumar.

WELL PERFORMED BY AKSHAY AND NIMRAT :– Akshay will leave you speechless with his acting. After Lunchbox, Nimrat is coming back in this movie and played her role excellently.

• Akshay’s Performance:- though Akshay has always been in a great buzz because of playing different types of roles be it romantic, comedy or action. But in this movie, audience will discover a different Akshay. Ranjit Katyal is a successful businessman who loves to follow all tricks to stay on the peak. But he gets changed after this incident. Though Ranjit Katyal gets an opportunity to return his country along with family. But instead of going back, he chooses to get indulged in the evacuation of lakh Indians.
• Apart from Akshay, Nimrat Kaur also got success to steal the show. Though her role is not very lengthy, even then she grabs a wide attention because of her brilliant acting. She is playing the role of Akshay’s wife.

Well- Executed: – Be it cinematography, direction or song, everything is good and make this film to give a thumb up. Apart from Akshay and Nimrat, you will see Inaamulhaq, Prakash Belawadi, Kumud Mishra, Purab Kohli, Feryna Wazheir. And it is directed by Raja Krishna Menon. There are a number of scenes in the movie, which leave you speechless. The cinematography is done by Priya Seth and it’s excellent. The film holds some songs and they are lovely to humming.
